[October 23, 2026] I gave an invited talk at the University of Wisconin-Madison on codebooks, conceptualization, and measurement. [Slides]

[July 4, 2026] I presented joint work with Katie Keith at ACL on codebooks and conceptualization in social science pipelines. Slides are available here.

[March 1, 2026] I’ll be teaching a new workshop at ICPSR on pipelines for big data analysis, including scraping text, working with images, and managing larage data collections.

[June 18, 2025] I’ll be presenting joint work with Tosin Salau at PolMeth next month on reprisals against civilians in Nigeria and techniques for coding events in sequence.

[March 1, 2025] I’m teaching a workshop at ICPSR this summer on modern techniques for producing custom event data.
