Recommendation Letters

I’m happy to write letters for current or former students or people I’ve worked with.

Then, please send me the following:

• your application materials (CV, transcript, statements, etc)
• a brief description of the kinds of programs you’re applying to
• a short memo (1-2 paras) describing particular strengths of yours, especially strengths that don’t come through in your CV and other materials.
• the name you go by and the pronouns you use (it’s amazing how often letter writers use different names and pronouns for the same person!)
• a list of places you’re applying and the due dates, preferably in a spreadsheet.
